Its been real

In this project we did a tattoo and i designed it myself. It is to support my dad, I used the lasso tool to crop of what part of the tattoo that I wanted to use on my back. I also used the wrap tool to make it fit perfectly on my back and made it look better then it was before. I did use the darken tool to darken it a little bit because I thought it was to bright at first glance.

In this project I did a project called screaming eagles. I chose to name them screaming eagles because it is a joke between our baseball team and that is why I said a family tradition on top because my teammates are my family. That is why I put pictures of our team on the back. I also added a joke because we are a funny group of guys just trying to have a good time and get some wins in the process. The only thing I wish I did differently is choose a different color for the background and assemble the box better.

In this project we painted over a picture and I chose to this picture of a panda. We also used the blending tool to make the colors come together and make the picture better overall. I wish I did a better background and somehow made the grass noticeable and really showed the pandas facial features. Even though the panda looks like he's crying its really not in the original picture I just didn't show the hairs that well.

In this project I chose the wonderful picture of me and Rob Geromini. We used polaroids to emphasize the picture. I tried to copy more but I could not copy more layers which is very disappointing because I feel like I could do more. One thing I wish I did more was emphasize my knee and have it pop out with my hand too. The picture looks a lithe bit weird because the normal picture was taken with a fish eye lens. My strongest aspect of my work was making the polaroids blend together, the weakest was the I used a lot of polaroids so I wish I made them bigger so it could take up the whole picture.

In this project I chose to do the dvd of the lion king. I chose to do this because in the movie there is many scenes that can be used for the cover. I chose the scene I did for the cover because I believe it is one of the most important scenes in the whole movie. I also wrote my own back of the book because I told the truth of what happens and I want people to be interested in the movie before they even watch a minute of it. I think it really grabs the viewers attention for both sides because the back is colorful and bright but the front is also dark and shows a moon. It has you questioning what is in the movie and wanting to get people to watch it. One thing I could have done better is put more pictures on the back of the dvd. Other then that I thought I did really well using the tools that I was given.

In this project I took the picture of Johnny Gomes placing the championship trophy on the Boston Marathon finish line. This is a very known picture and it is a big part in the recent history in Boston. In the project we were introduced to the warping tool, which was making the letters in the word I put smaller or bigger depending on how it fit into the picture. You had to basically tell what was in the picture using the word, creating word art and I think my came out really well. The only think I wish I did more was use smaller words so you can see the picture together more and use the trophy more in the picture because you really can't tell that it is a picture. But overall I think I did well and would do this project again with another picture.

In this project were doing something to identify us. Everything I put in this collage is something that identifies me to a certain extent. The first thing that pops out to you in this is probably the Chick Fila logo and how bright it is. I chose to do this because it is my favorite fast food restaurant. If I was doing this project I would pick another background because I feel like it totally could have been better then a galaxy background. I also think I added a good creativity into this by adding pictures of my friends at my table! I also cropped it very well throughout the whole project by using the lasso tool. I added the Red Sox logo in the background because baseball is my favorite sport so I wanted it to outline the whole project in the background by adding a little fade. I was overall proud of this project because these are several of my favorite things and who I am and I am proud of it.

             The strongest aspect of my work was me using the gradient overlay tool, I used the colors in it to represent Boston colors even though I forgot to do the celtics. The big M in the background really doesn't represent anything it just looks very cool and retro. The technical aspect of my work I can work on is the color scheme and making sure the colors go together more and having more things stand out that are important.
            The easy part of this activity was choosing the colors, I went with Boston sports teams colors because it is very important to my childhood by cheering for those teams while I was growing up. The difficulty in this project was trying to tell a story with only using one letter, my story in this was the M's in the front as Boston sports teams, the M in the back as my favorite colors, blue and purple and then the M's in the corners as Bellingham Blackhawks colors because that is where I go to high school.
             If I could do this activity again, I would use a different background, I think in this I used a purple to much even though it is my favorite color. I would use a lighter color so the M in the background of everything pops out a little bit more. I still think it looks good, but if I did it differently I think it would look a lot better.
